Fair Moon Stages, formerly Dream Theatre Productions was created to fulfill a need in the world of regional professional theatre. It is a company that is committed to bringing quality, affordable entertainment to Northern/Central New Jersey while recognizing the value of the performers who appear on its stage. For families, an evening or afternoon at the theatre is a treasured delight. It is a magical, extraordinary experience in which joy and laughter – and sometimes sadness – are memorably shared. However, we are very much aware that too many New Jersey families cannot afford the rising ticket prices in New York City and most area professional theatres, as well as the costs for tolls and parking. We strive to keep our top ticket prices 65% less than Broadway and 25% less than most other professional

theater productions in New Jersey, while maintaining the same artistic standards. In an effort to keep our productions accessible, we invite students with their families from underserved communities to attend our final dress rehearsals. Trying to make a living as a working actor in New York City can be quite challenging. Typically, Broadway and regional theatres will only hire members of The Actors’ Equity Association, the professional union for actors, while only hiring a very small number of non-union performers. Dream Theatre is committed to providing these artists a professional stage on which to share their talents and pay them a weekly salary. We are pleased to announce that Dream Theatre will soon be a part of The Equity Membership Candidates program that allows potential members to earn one point per week during which they work in an approved professional regional theatre. In addition to our productions, we will soon offer a dynamic theater school for aspiring performers, ages five and up. The Academy at Fair Moon will teach our students the basics of acting and musical theater. We intend to prepare them to become  either the next generation of actors on our stage or lifetime theatre enthusiasts
